Her unique worldview is constructed by building on simple principles. Her endeavors begin with monochromatic flat surfaces, not limited to color, installation, and media. In recent years, she has been most active in Singapore.

城の堀の水面のゆらぎや、そこに落ちる木漏れ日は、今日も昔日も変わりません。
名古屋城の堀の水面は400年前と同じように風に流され、波を形作り、陽光に煌めき、月明かりを映しながらも、流れる水は常に新しく、昔日は水面の向こう側にのみ感じられるものです。そうした風や陽射しが作る、干渉し合いながらも独立した形象から描画の着想を得ています。
再構成され、還元された描かれた水面に現在を見るか、昔日を見出すか、それとも同時に見つけるか。宿泊される方々に作品を通じて発見していただければ幸いです。
The rippling surface of the castle moat and the sunlight filtering through the trees remain unchanged today as in the past.
Just like 400 years ago, the surface of the Nagoya Castle moat sparkles in the sunlight and reflects the moonlight at night. Yet the flowing water is always new, and the past can only be sensed below the surface. The inspiration for my work comes from the shapes created by the wind and sunlight.
