塚田 美登里 Midori Tsukada
1972年岐阜県生まれ。2002年富山ガラス造形研究所研究科修了。2004年金沢卯辰山工芸工房修了後、2006年より同工房に勤務。2011年富山市内に自宅兼工房を設立。「国際ガラス展・金沢2013」金賞受賞。フィラデルフィア美術館、金沢21世紀美術館など国内外の美術館に作品が収蔵されている。
Born in Gifu in 1972, she graduated from the Toyama Institute of Glass Art in 2002. Awarded the Gold Award at the International Exhibition of Glass Kanazawa, her works are in such museums as the Philadelphia Art Museum and the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa.

私の作品は、自然のエネルギーや奥深さ、目には見えない流れや連なりを表現しています。
ラウンジからは家具のブルーと格子のブラウンが落ち着きと格調を感じましたので、作品もその雰囲気に合わせたブルーからグリーンを基調とした色使いにいたしました。3作品のシリーズで、全ての色と形に微妙な変化を加えています。一つ一つが唯一の作品であり、世界を感じつつ、空間としてもより豊かで大きな世界観を感じていただければ嬉しいです。
さまざまな面で加速度的に均一化されていく世の中ですが、作品を細部まで手作業で丁寧に仕上げることで得られる個性や希少性を大切に思っています。その様な作品が所々に設置された空間は、温かみがあり、清いエネルギーに満ちたものになり、ホテルにとっての宝物になってほしいという願いを込めて制作いたしました。
My work seeks to express the energy and depth of nature, as well as the invisible flows and connections between things. The blue of the furniture and the brown of the latticework in the lounge exuded a sense of quiet and elegance; therefore, I resorted to a blue-to-green color scheme for the works in order to match that atmosphere.
In a world that is becoming increasingly standardized in many ways, I place great emphasis on individuality and the uniqueness that can be achieved by meticulously crafting each piece by hand down to the smallest detail. I created these works with the hope that any space adorned with such pieces would constitute a treasure for a hotel filled with warmth and pure energy.
