藪内 公美 Kumi Yabuuchi
2009年金沢美術工芸大学大学院博士後期課程工芸金工（鍛金）分野修了、博士（芸術）学位取得。2022年ハイアット セントリック 金沢「KOGEI Art Fair Kanazawa 2022」に出展（Art Shop月映）。フォーシーズンズホテル東京大手町（東京）、ザ セントレジス 深セン（中国）他、国内外で作品を提供している。
In 2009, she completed a PhD in Art from the Kanazawa College of Art Graduate School in the field of Craft Metalwork (hammering). She has exhibited her works both in Japan and overseas, including at the KOGEI Art Fair Kanazawa, the Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi, and the St. Regis Shenzhen Hotel in China.

鍛金技法によって金属でかたちを作り、その表層に糸によって刺繍を施しています。鍛金技法の金鎚で一打一打かたちを作っていく地道な制作と、糸を一針一針通していく行為は共通するものがあり、作品に時間や世界観を刻んでいきます。
イメージを作品に表すために、糸を数本ずつ組み合わせ徐々に色が変化するように文様を刻んでいきます。金属を異素材である糸で覆うこと、それらの質感の呼応から、人間の計算できない感覚を表出させたいと考えています。
本作品は、宝珠をイメージしました。珠の表面を吉祥華文様で覆い、見る角度によって箔と糸の色や作品の雰囲気が変化していきます。変化様相が世界観を感じさせるような表現となっていれば幸いです。
I create shapes using metalworking techniques and then embroider the surface with thread. The painstaking processes of shaping the metal with a hammer and of the act of threading the needle one stitch at a time share a commonality, imprinting time, a worldview, and imagery onto the work. By covering the metal with thread, a different material, and through the interplay of their textures, I aim to evoke sensations that defy human expectations.
This work is inspired by a jewel. The surface of the jewel is covered with auspicious floral patterns, and the colors of the foil and thread change depending on the angle from which it is viewed.
