長谷川 幾与 Kiyo Hasegawa
1984年東京都生まれ。多摩美術大学大学院修士課程修了。主な展覧会に個展「PROVIDENCE」アートフェア東京（2025年）、「シン・ジャパニーズ・ペインティング-革新の日本画」ポーラ美術館（2023年）。2023年、Harper’s BAZAAR「Woman on the Frontier」を受賞。
Born in Tokyo in 1984, she graduated from Tama Art University Graduate School. Major exhibitions include her solo exhibition PROVIDENCE at Art Fair Tokyo (2025) and Shin Japanese Painting: Revolutionary Nihonga at the Pola Museum of Art (2023). In 2023, she won the Harper’s Bazaar Woman on the Frontier award.

岩絵具や墨、和紙などの日本画の技法を用い、神社仏閣や土地に宿る気配から着想を得て、抽象的な風景を描いています。今回の制作では、名古屋城の凛とした格調高い姿に心を動かされ、幽玄でありながら神々しい空気を纏うイメージが浮かびました。
タイトルの「Deliverance（解放）」は、雑念を振り払い、集中して筆を走らせるこのシリーズの制作姿勢を表しています。気配を無心に再現する行為のなかで、今回は三英傑（織田信長、豊臣秀吉、徳川家康）に象徴される威厳や歴史の重み、そして未来へと続く繁栄への願いを筆に込めました。
原画では黒に厚みと深みを出すため、松煙粉に粒子の異なる岩絵具4種と水干絵具2種を混色し、日本画用の刷毛で描いています。完成した原画はデータ化され、襖サイズの箔押し紙にインクジェット印刷していただきました。原画に劣らぬ格式と存在感を湛えた仕上がりとなりました。
I usually draw inspiration from shrines, temples, and the land itself to create abstract landscapes with classic Japanese painting supplies like mineral pigments, ink, and Japanese washi paper. For this work, I was moved by the dignified and elegant appearance of Nagoya Castle, which evoked a mysterious yet divine atmosphere in my mind.
The title, Deliverance, refers to the attitude behind the creation of this series, which involves clearing the mind of distractions and concentrating on the artistic act. In the process of painting without thinking, I incorporated into my brushwork historical elements under the guise of the Three Great Heroes (Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and Tokugawa Ieyasu), as well as my hope for continued prosperity in the future.
