黒河 兼吉 Kenkichi Kurokawa
1974年広島県生まれ。1999年愛知県立芸術大学大学院美術研究科陶磁専攻修了。セラミック素材を用いたプロダクトデザインやアートピースの制作を行う。「第8回国際陶磁器展美濃デザイン部門」金賞受賞。岐阜県現代陶芸美術館や利川世界陶磁センター（韓国）等に作品が収蔵されている。
Born in Hiroshima Prefecture in 1974, he graduated from the Department of Ceramics of Aichi University of the Arts Graduate School in 1999. Creating designs and works in ceramic, he received the Gold Award in the Mino Design Division of the 8th International Ceramics Competition Mino Japan.

本作は、霊獣の持つ象徴的な要素を分解・抽出し、再構成することで、洗練された造形美を提示しています。高温焼成による青白磁の艶やかな透明感と、ソリッドかつ繊細なフォルムの反復表現を融合させることで、双対する神体が昇天する最も神秘的な瞬間を簡潔に描き出しました。
加えて、本作には「日本の伝統美」という、もう一つの軸が通底しています。書道における基本的技法であり、美の要である「ハネ・ハライ」などの二次元的なニュアンスを、作品のアウトラインとして活かしました。また、日本刀に宿る「反り」の美を、各モジュールの造形として丁寧に落とし込んでいます。東洋的精神性と造形美の結晶としての《双天》をぜひご鑑賞ください。
This work deconstructs and extracts the symbolic elements of divine beasts to reconfigure them as aesthetic elements. Fusing the lustrous transparency of blue-and-white porcelain with the repetition of solid yet delicate forms, it depicts the mystical moment when the twin divine beings ascend to heaven. Another underlying theme is traditional Japanese beauty. Two-dimensional nuances of the hane-harai (hand-shaped curve) calligraphy technique are utilized as the outline of the piece. The beautiful curvature of Japanese swords has also been carefully incorporated into the design of each module.
