泉 東臣 Haruomi Izumi
1979年千葉県⽣まれ。2003年東京藝術⼤学美術学部⽇本画科卒業。2005年同⼤学院美術研究科修⼠課程デザイン科描画装飾研究室修了 デザイン賞受賞。2010〜2012年東京藝術⼤学⾮常勤講師。2024〜2025年千葉県⽂化振興財団 アーティスト・フォローアップ事業 審査員。個展・グループ展多数。
Born in Chiba in 1979, after graduating from the Department of Japanese Painting of the Tokyo University of the Arts in 2003, he completed the master’s degree program in design, drawing, and decoration at that university’s graduate school in 2005 and received the Design Award. He has held numerous solo and group exhibitions.

⽉夜のススキが⾵になびく情景。
⽇本では古来、⾵流とされるこの景⾊は多くの⽇本⼈なら馴染みのあるもの。
満⽉に照らされたススキの穂は、その柔らかな光を反射しほのかな存在を私達に伝えてくる。
⾵の⾳と共に揺らぐ穂の光は、まるで⽉の⾔葉を私達に伝える儀式の詩のように感じる。
涼しい秋⾵の中、五感の全てで受け止める⽉の詩の声。
時代を超え多くの人々がこの詩に⽿を傾けてきた歴史や⾵⼟こそが、⼤和魂を育んできたのだろう。
世界の其々の国や時代でさまざまな詩が⽣まれては消えていった。
そんな数えきれない詩の中で私達は今この情景で共感し合える。
そんな今を⼤切にこれからも⽣きていきたい。
The spectacle of pampas grass swaying in the wind under the moonlight is a quintessential Japanese view and is familiar to many Japanese.
The pampas grass, illuminated by the full moon, reflects its soft light and conveys its subtle presence to us.
The light of the swaying grasses, accompanied by the sound of the wind, feels like a poem conveying the moon’s words to us.
In the cool autumn breeze, the voice of the moon speaks to the five senses.
Poems are born and fade away in every country in every era.
Yet, even today, this continues to be a scene to which we can relate.
